The Arri ALEXA 35 Xtreme Base Production Set is designed for traditional camera departments and includes an ALEXA 35 Xtreme camera with a Base license, LPL Mount, MVF-2 viewfinder, production accessories, and Power Distribution Module PDM-1. It is fully compatible with most rental packages for high-end narrative productions and offers options for 15 mm or 19 mm studio rods. The ALEXA 35 Xtreme introduces powerful new hardware, higher speeds for slow-motion images, and the efficient ARRICORE codec, making high-speed cinematography more accessible and affordable.

The ALEXA 35 Xtreme features a new Sensor Overdrive mode for higher frame rates, a new ARRICORE codec for reduced data rates, and an upgrade path for existing ALEXA 35 cameras. It offers powerful new hardware, longer pre-recording times, and lower power consumption while maintaining the industry-leading image quality and reliability of the ALEXA 35 system. The camera system streamlines production workflows, saves time and money, and ensures seamless integration of high-speed footage with standard-speed shots in post-production.

Toggles anamorphic de-squeeze on the viewfinder outputs (VF1 and VF2)

User Button – LPM-1 Return In

Once the Live Production Monitor LPM-1 is available, this button switches between the live image and an external return signal attached to the monitor

Extended Shutter Angle Range

Minimum adjustable shutter angle is now 1° instead of 5º

Integrated LDA Lens Tables for Ensō Primes
